Dragan Roganovic’s beginnings as DJ/producer Dirty South can
be traced back to a tape deck; his only tools were two cassettes, a pause
button and his hands. Once he obtained a computer and keyboard for mixing and
recording, the singles and mashups began pouring out.
In 2004, they began reaching beyond his hometown of Melbourne, Australia, and the rest of the world quickly caught on to his good vibes. Dirty South’s remixes of Depeche Mode, Snoop Dogg, the Temper Trap (a collaboration with DJ/producer Axwell) and U2 have become party anthems, along with his new wave-influenced house singles.
