Hip-hop duo Kidz In The Hall first met in 2000 during a recruitment visit to the University of Pennsylvania. Chicago lyricist Naledge was still in high school and decided to enter a talent show the college was hosting. After performing a free style rap, his friends introduced him to a current student, DJ Double-O. They sensed a chemistry together that’s carried them through the years, and the internet buzz surrounding their work increased when Just Blaze signed on to produce. (Blaze has produced the who’s who of hip-hop, from Jay-Z to Kanye.)
Their newest album, Land of Make Believe, dropped in March and includes the slow slaying “Take Over the World” which XXL Magazine called “a thrusting anthem suitable for packed stadiums.”
