Danish indie-rockers the Kissaway Trail are making their debut on this side
of the pond with April’s Sleep Mountain, an album that showcases the
group’s distinct combination of influences ranging from Nirvana and Sonic Youth
to Blonde Redhead and the Polyphonic Spree.
The Kissaway Trail’s three original members, Thomas Fagerlund, Søren B. Corneliussen and Rune Pedersen, got their start recording as Hostmom and then the Isles. In 2005, they were joined by Daniel Skjoldmose and Hasse Mydtskov and in 2007 released their self-titled debut in Europe to much acclaim.
