For those seeking no-frills, back-to-basics rock, look no
further than San Diego’s the Soft Pack. The foursome were the center of controversy
with their original band name, the Muslims, but the press they’re receiving now
from publications like the Los Angeles
Times and Pitchfork is all about
the music.
Their eponymous 2010 release is an onslaught of vintage garage rock. “Parasites” shakes in fuzz-filled guitar and hammering drums; the two-minute, heartbreaking “Down On Loving” induces flashbacks to early Kinks; and the bass-driven single “C’mon” sneers, “No one plays to get what they deserve.” When the record dropped in February, the band celebrated with an impressive 10-show, 13-hour tour around L.A.

After you have selected your wedding party attire hang it inside bag it arrives in and don't display it to everybody. Give company a thing to start looking forward to once they see you for your initial time walking along the aisle. And unless it is really unavoidable, don't allow your potential husband see your attire whatsoever prior to the wedding. jr667 , about 1 year agoThis is a great band to listen to. Give them a shot and you will be impressed. They did the David Letterman show in February and have been tearing it up ever since. Most recently they did a live interview on Billboard.com. You can still check it out while they have it up on the website. They also played several shows at the SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas.
